Back when I had my aquarium, I had cory cats and they were probably my favorites of all the varieties I had. I never had the nerve to try angelfish, though.

And somewhere in the far far distance, beyond the range of human vision, is ME! The shells are in my upstairs bathroom, having survived (mostly) a trip to Sophie's pre-school.

I was kind of SAD to read that you wanted to rush back to your studio to implement all you'd learned, when here you are, stuck in Myrtle Beach with me! and your mom! and no glass studio anywhere nearby! You poor thing! But I do love your photo of the beach in the rain. I feel as though I could just walk into the picture & be there.

Wow! I know the scared-of-trying-something-new feeling well; I live with it. Hahaha. But the results you got are fascinating..and you're over the hump! It's no longer so new! I'm looking forward to tales of your adventures.

Hi Lisa,
Thank you for the comment! I suppose it is possible that the clear you have is a different C.O.E. I would think that all your clear encased beads would crack if that was the case though if it were mixed in together with the 96 only a few would crack. I don't have a lot of experience mixing C.O.E.s together - yet. I have branched out from the 104, so I'm sure I will get something mixed up here sooner or later. I hope this helps, Robin

Thank you for your in depth list of glass suppliers & C.O.E. info. I'm curious about the differences in Reichenbach's c.o.e. You said there are two different C.O.E.'s for Reichenbach; 96 & 104.
I've been using Reichenbach for about 4 years & for the past several months I've had intermittent cracking after removing my beads from the mandrel, but only when I encase with clear. I kept thinking I got a bad batch & it was mixed in with left overs from a good batch. Is it possible that some of the rods from a separate order had a different c.o.e.?
Love to hear your answer.
Thanks. Lisa
